Banxa Announces Layer 2 Partnership With zkSync

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with zkSync, a trustless protocol for scalable low-cost payments on Ethereum, which will accelerate secure access to Layer 2 (L2) for the Ethereum network.

Banxa and zkSync’s partnership provides access to a scalable L2 solution for both users and developers. L2 significantly lowers fees to a fraction of traditional pricing and halves transaction times, enhancing the user experience.

Removing Friction and Complexity

zkSync is a trustless protocol for scalable, low-cost payments on Ethereum, powered by zkRollup technology. Focused on security and user experience for developers zkSync combines zero-knowledge proofs with blockchain technology to eliminate friction and complexity.

In celebration of this launch, Banxa is offering fee-free purchasing on Layer 2 with zkSync, available for 2 weeks from 22 December. User fees will be waived, however, standard payment surcharges will apply, such as credit card transaction fees. This offer is now available to all zkSync users.
